No one ever walked away from a disaster wishing they had saved their clothes or cell phone. They wish they had their photographs. That disaster could be a flood, fire or a child going off to college. I understand how important photos are to a family and friends. They are my most treasured possessions. That's what I want to give to others. A moment in time that will be shared now and preserved for future generations.
Patty believes that women are under-represented in photographs. "Just 10 more pounds!" Breast cancer patients need portraits of loved ones to keep with them at hospital, and their families need portraits of them. Some woman have even requested documentary portraits prior to radical surgery.
